Dr. Sunil Abrol
is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American
Board of Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Abrol received his B.S.C., Zoology
Major, at Kurukshetra University, India in 1981. He obtained his M.D.
from Maulana Azad Medical College University of Delhi, India in
1985.
Dr. Abrol
continued his post-graduate training, completing his rotating internship
from Maulana Azad Medical College University of Delhi, India in
1986. He also served as house officer in General Surgery in 1987
and house officer in orthopedics in 1988 from the University of
Delhi. Dr. Abrol completed his residency in General Surgery from
the University of Delhi, India in 1990. He completed his
internship and residency in General Surgery in 1998 from Brooklyn South
Surgical training Program Maimonides Medical Center Brooklyn, New
York. He was a fellow in Cardiothoracic Surgery at SUNY Health
Center, Maimonides Medical Center, and Lutheran Medical Center,
Brooklyn, New York in 2001.
