Shahriyour Andaz, MD,
FRCS
Dr. Shahriyour
Andaz is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic
Surgery. Dr. Andaz obtained his M.D. from the Grant Medical
School, Bombay, India, in 1981. He completed his Rotating
Internship and General Surgical Residency at the Grant Medical College
and JJ Group of Hospitals, Bombay India in 1986.
Dr. Andaz received post-graduate
training and gathered extensive experience in the field of General and
Vascular Surgery in both the United States of America and in the United
Kingdom. For the past three years Dr. Andaz has worked as a
Cardiothoracic Fellow at the Maimonides Medical Center which has one of
the busiest Cardiothoracic Departments in the State of New York.
Maimonides performs over 1400 open heart procedures a year. Dr.
Andaz gained considerable experience in the field of Cardiac and
Thoracic Surgery. This includes:
