Dr. Joshua
Burack is board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and the American
Board of Surgery. Dr. Burack received his B.A. in
Psychology from Cornell University, College of the Arts and Sciences in
1977. He obtained his M.D.
from Yeshiva University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1982.
Dr. Burack completed an internship and residency
at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then completed his residency in
Cardiothoracic Surgery from
the State University of New York, Health and Sciences Center at
Brooklyn, where he went on to serve as Assistant Professor of Surgery
for several years.
Dr. Burack has written several
publications, book chapters and abstracts in the field of Cardiology,
and has also presented at several area hospitals.
